An educational television network and media organization

The Challenge

The Experience Advisors first partnered with the network to develop and deploy a series of Employee Focus Groups and after a successful project delivery, were engaged again to create, administer, and analyze results for an Employee Engagement Survey. Since then, our team has developed, and continuously administered a short-form Pulse Survey to track key engagement metrics.

Our Approach

Through collaborative work with the network, our team:

  • Analyzed quantitative and qualitative findings from 500+ employees across five survey themes aligned with our client’s Employee Value Propositions (“EVPs”) that were structured to align with the EVPs of the organization to provide an overall organization and division view of progress towards employee initiatives. 
  • Provided 7 comprehensive analyses and reports (one organization-level and six division reports) to provide findings at an organizational and divisional level and conducted 20+ organization-wide share-out presentations of the results to all levels of the organization. 
  • Identified short- and medium-term EDI recommendations and actions to support the implementation of opportunities, which focused on elevating the people experience to create a more inclusive culture. 

The Outcome

The successful execution of this project has allowed the network to build accountability for DE&I into their culture, and to continuously track and monitor progress against initiatives. A commitment to the on-going evaluation of organizational culture and employee perceptions of DE&I has established a focus on continuous improvement, learning and growth. The network continues to leverage the findings from the initial surveys, strategy and action plan and subsequent pulse checks to ideate new DE&I opportunities, pivot existing ones and re-prioritize focus areas to better meet employee expectations.
